Apis Mellifera Scutellat Lepeletier

Locate the Randall Henderson Loop and venture into the desert. At the first split, head left up the dune and continue right. You will follow along the trail until you find post #6. It is located at the "Wash." Facing the numbered post, you will notice 2 big rocks behind it a couple of feet. Underneath, behind some stones will be what your looking for.

You can continue along the trail, take the "Wash" to a latter point in the loop, or return the way you came.

Cannon Profile - 4,100ft

-Cannon Mountain - White Mountains, NH
Climb to the summit of Cannon Mountain. There are several ways to get to the top, but know that you will need to find your way to the Observation Tower just south of the summit. This sign is not to be confused with the sign that may be at the top of the Aerial Tram. Once you find the correct sign, walk to the observation tower, passing the bench to a huge boulder at the trail split. This boulder points at some mossy rocks. Underneath, behind some bark will be what your looking for.

Return the way you came to head back to your vehicle.

The Bears of Bear Brook

Using the map, you must exit Bear Brook State Park, taking a left onto Route 28. About a mile or so down the road, you will take a left onto River Rd, following it too for about a mile, taking another left onto Dodge Rd, which is unmarked. Follow this road, which turns to dirt, to a orange gate and park there.
Walk around the gate and passed a tiny field on your left. You may notice “No Trespassing” signs all around. Right now, you are not in Bear Brook, but soon will be. At a “Y” intersection, head left. You will soon enter Bear Brook, although it never says you do. At a clearing, there is a beaver pond. You will need to follow the trail straight, to the beaver pond. The trail head left where you will notice a pawsome sized BEAR on the right. Creep around the right side of the BEAR to where a tree touches. It is there you will locate a Polar Bear.
Continue along this trail, back to the main trail and head right. At a “Y” intersection head right. Locate a rock bulging out of the middle of the trail. You will know you found the right one if there is a stack of logs on the left side of where you stand. Between the logs at the base of the stack, you will find a Koala Bear.
Continue on this trail to another “Y” intersection. Head left. You will come to some water which you will travel around to the left, and continue on until you find the blue marked tree. With the tree to your right, look to your left and find a “V” tree. Behind this tree, you will find a Brown Bear.
Start heading back the way you came, but stop before heading down to the water. This is a “Y” intersection with a trail slightly noticed on your left. Head that way. It turns to the right and straight through a yard full of sleeping BEARS. Quietly walk through the yard and down the hill to the intersection. Head left to the logs on the left of the trail. Behind the log closest the stump, you will find a Panda Bear. Continue to intersection and head left to your car.

The Care Bears

As you pulled into Bear Brook State Park for the first time, you will have noticed a dirt parking lot on the right, gating a much larger dirt parking lot. Across the road, will be the beginning of the trail where you will start. Head around the gate and take 15 steps to a huge “V” tree on the left. Behind this tree, you will find Love-a-Lot Bear.
Continue on the trail and follow the arrow around the bend. Locate the only white birch on the left side of the trail as you walk along a little bit. Behind this tree, you will find Bedtime Bear.
Continue down the trail and locate an old falling apart “Y” tree on the left side of the trail. On the right side, there will be a stump of an older “Y” tree. Behind this stump, you will find Goodluck Bear.
Continue along the trail until you find a log across the trail, just passed the gate caution sign. Behind the base of the standing portion of this log, you will find Brave-Heart Lion.

Transformers : Beast Wars

From the hikers and bikers parking lot, take the Little Bear trail. At the intersection, head left counting 50 steps to a big pine tree on the left. Behind this tree you will find Tigatron.
Continue on the trail to the next intersection, head right right down Bear Brook trail. At the next intersection, head left counting 22 steps from the stone in the middle of that intersection, to a pine tree on the right. Behind that tree you will find Razorclaw.
Head back to the intersection and head left. Continue to the 4 way intersection and head left. At the next intersection, you could go straight or right. To make the decision easier for you, head right straight to the large pine tree, where you will find Lio Convoy beside the tree. Return to intersection and head left to return to the parking lot.

Bear Brook State Park

From the stone pavilion, follow the paved path through the intersection towards the road. Cross over the bridge and follow the trail to the left. Soon you will stumble across a fallen tree. Follow the trail along the tree, and at the trail split, count 16 steps down the left trail. To your left, there will be a big pine tree. Behind this tree, under some bark, will be the Bear Brook State Park stamp.

Who Killed Fozzie Bear?

Head to the second intersection of Podunk Rd and Spruce Pond Rd. Just passed this intersection, there will be a small parking area on the left side of the road. Walk back towards the intersection and take the trail to Bear Hill on your left. At the stone wall to your right, reach behind the first stone and you will find Fozzie Bear. This is where the crime happened.
With no clues as to who did this act, you will need to find Fozzie’s best friend. Continue up the trail and take a right at the intersection. Locate a split tree leaning on a rock. Behind the rock, you will find Kermit.
Kermit stated he was with someone the night Fozzie was murdered. To collaborate his story you will need to continue on the trail to a white rock on the right with a slashed tree behind it. Behind that tree you will find Miss Piggy.
She gave the same story as Kermit, but said she had seen a couple of guys acting strange. Conmtinue on the trail down the rock steps to the tall tall old naked tree on the right. Behind this tree you will find Beaker. Since you couldn’t understand a word he said, head 115 Degrees to a big pine. Behind this tree you will find Dr. Bunsen Honeydew.
Dr. Bunsen Honeydew said that Beaker went for a walk the night of the murder back towards where the investigation started at the intersection. He witnessed someone up the trail, kill Fozzie where a 10 foot tall stump stands. Behind this stump, you will find the Killer. Head down the trail back to your car.

Rockin and Rollin with the Granite Grateful

On New Rye Rd, pull over at the big pine, across the road from 4 slabs of granite.
Cross the road, walk passed those 4 slabs, and locate a big “Y” tree on the left.
Behind this tree you will find a Granite Grateful.

King Richard the Lionheart Shield

Locate the Burgin Family Cemetery.
Walk around the outside to the backside of the cemetery wall.
Between the big pine and the cemetery wall will be the Lionheart Shield.

Winnie the Pooh & Friends

On Podunk Rd, park in the parking lot across from the log cabin. Walk back out to Podunk Rd, and down to the bridge. There is a trail on the right. Once on the trail, locate the large pine on the right, after the fallen logs. Behind that pine you will find Tigger.
Continue on the trail, left or right at the intersection, it doesn’t matter. Eventually, you will come to a tree the crosses the trail. Follow that tree towards the river. As you get the end of that tree, notice a large “V” tree on the right. Behind that tree you will find Piglet.
Continue along the river finding the trail again. Soon, you will come across a stone well. Across the trail from the well, you will find a big pine tree. Behind that pine tree you will find Eeyore.
Continue following the trail, passing the old naked tree to a tree with a big of curve to it. Across the trail from the curved tree will be a pine tree where you will find Winnie the Pooh. Return the way you came to get back to your car.

The Wild World of Sports

Find the Archery Pond off Spruce Pond Camp Road. This is where they fly fish. Just past the pond, you will find the Archery Trail. Follow along to station #1. Behind the station will be a long fallen tree. Walk the length of that fallen tree to the last tree it touches. At the base of that tree, you will find the Cincinnati Bengals.
Continue following the trail of yellow markers to the station #2. Behind that station, you will notice a “V” tree. Behind that tree, you will find the Boston Bruins.
Continue on the trail passing station # 3, crossing over a bridge to the next station. To the left of that station will be a 3 sister tree with a yellow arrow on it. Behind those sisters, you will find the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
Continue down the archery trail to the next station on the other side of another bridge. Go the wrong way to an ugly tree which stands straight ahead. At the base of this tree, you will find the Detroit Lions.
Cross back over the bridge and continue left to the “target” sign. Head the wrong way again, counting 10 steps passed the “wrong way” sign to a big pine on your right next to an 11 foot tree stump. In front of the big pine, under a much smaller tree you will find the Nashua Pride.
Continue on the archery trail back passed the “target” and “exit” signs to a much bigger intersection. Head left and locate a monster of a pine tree on the left side of the trail. You will know when you find it. Behind this monster you will find the Chicago Bears.
Head back to the intersection passing it to the “target” trail. Take that right and take that left passed station #6 to a “Y” tree on the left that needs a little blue pill. Behind the little tree beside the “Y” tree, you will find the Detroit Tigers.
Continue following the yellow arrows to the next intersection where you will head right. At the intersection to the parking lot, notice the tall stump on your right. Behind that stump you will find the Tamworth Tigers.

Tribal Tiger Tat

So, if you went left, the trail would take you to the Toll Booth. If you went right, the trail would take you to Podunk Rd. With the Catamount Trail is behind you, lets see where the trail in front of you brings you. Locate a big pine on your right, after a clear right turn in the trail. Behind this tree will be the Tribal Tiger Tat.

The Tale of Two Tigers

Walk along Catamount Pond passed the playground to the dam spillway. To the left of the spillway begins a yellow marked trail. Follow to the broken yellow marked tree. At the base, behind the mossy covered log, you will find a Tiger.
Continue along that trail passed where you do jumping jacks. Once you get to the intersection, head straight. Soon, you will make your way to station #7. Reach behind
the tree, and you will find Tiger Woods. Return the way you came or continue along the trails.

Grrreat Cartoon Characters

Take the 1 Mile Trail, passing the gate to the second log lining the trail on the left. Behind the log you will find Baloo.
Continue through 2 junctions to the Catamount Trail on the right. Head up this trail and find the uprooted tree on your right. Behind the stump you will find Shirt Tales Tyg.
Continue and head right at what looks to be an intersection. At real intersection, continue on Catamount. Climb up the trail to the rock steps. To the left, you will notice 2 rocks that look to be kissing. Where they kiss, you will find Tony the Tiger.
Continue to climb up up up to the huge rock pile in the sky. Staying on the rail, when you can touch one of the rocks in the pile stop. Behind the small “V” tree almost touching that rock, you will find Clarence the Cross-Eyed Lion.
Continue up the trail to the look out. Enjoy for as long as you would like. When finished, continue up trail and notice your surrounding begin to change a little bit. There was a fire atop this hill several years back. When you get to the tree where there once were signs, count 8 steps to a 6 sister tree on the left. Under the closest sister you will find Smokey the Bear.
Continue up the trail through 2 small meadows. Once you enter the woods, you will have entered the land of the fallen trees. At a small intersection, head left and locate a “V” tree on the right with sliced rocks behind it. In the bigger split, you will find Bumblelion. Return the way you came.

The Berenstain Bears

-Bear Brook State Park - Allenstown, NH
From the large wooden pavilion, follow the trail down to the ball field. Walk along the tree line to center field. There you will find a small trail. Head into this trail and find the 3 sister pine on the right. Next to the 3 sisters is a brother tree. 6 feet from that brother will be a 2 foot tall old stump. Behind that stump will be Mama Bear.
Head back to center field and continue along the tree line to the bridge near home plate. Cross over the bridge and locate the tree with a caution sign just like the one you passed before crossing the bridge. Count about 40 steps to the tree with a arrow on the left side of the trail. Behind this tree you will find Papa Bear.
Continue up the trail and locate the tree on the left side of the trail with a red marker on it. Be careful not to miss it as it is on the opposite side of the trail. Behind this tree you will find Sister Bear.
Continue to the end of the trail. Locate the store hours for the museum. To the right of the tree with the hours is a small log. Under that log you will find Brother Bear. Head right to main parking lot

Protector of the Patch

-Rowell Street - Manchester, NH
Find a parking spot along Rowell Street and cross River Road to walk among the trees being tapped for their nectar. Follow along the wooden fence and continue in the direction it sends you. At the field opening, continue to the right, passing the wooden fence. Behind the bench next to the "Youth Center" sign is where you will find the protector of the patch.

South Hancock - 4,319ft

-South Hancock, White Mountains, NH
Climb to the summit of South Hancock. This would be the South peak as noted at the split on the Hancock Loop Trail. Once at the top, continue around the loop in the direction of North peak. From the cairn, count 12 step. On the right side of the trail will be a spiky trunk. Behind this stump is where you will find the box.

You can continue on the Hancock Loop trail to collect the box on top of Mt. Hancock.

Mt. Hancock - 4,420ft

-Mt. Hancock, White Mountains, NH

Climb to the summit of Mt. Hancock. This would be the North peak as noted at the split on the Hancock Loop Trail. Once at the top, continue around the loop in the direction of South peak. Just before the first sharp right turn in the trail, there will be a 2 1/2 foot clean cut tree stump on the right. Behind this stump is where you will find the box.

You can continue on the Hancock Loop trail to collect the box on top of South Hancock.

3:10 to Portsmouth

- Portsmouth & Concord Railroad - Hooksett, NH
Once you find your parking spot, grab your bag and head through the gate. You will need to head left through the tunnel and continue to where 5 sisters and waiting with their luggage at there feet, at the beginning of the clearing on your left. Walk 30 feet passed them and stop. On your right, there will be a faint trail. To be sure your heading in the right direction, there is a log showing you the way to a clearing a little ways down this trail. This trail does head off to the left, but make sure you head to the clearing. Assuming there isn't a lot of water, you will need to walk around the 2 water ways. When I planted this box, the water was very low. When you make it across the water ways, follow the stone wall to its end and head down around the wall. Find the first tallest rock. In a cubby below this rock will be the train you need to Portsmouth.

Hamlet : Kite Flyin

- Memorial Park - Pembroke, NH
Enter Memorial Park and head straight through the intersection. At the left turn where the road runs parallel with the Merrimack River, you will find an old rotting tree stump. Behind the stump, under some bark, will be what your looking for.

Two Unusual Residents of Coachella Valley

- Coachella Valley Scenic Vista - Hwy 74 -Palm Desert, CA
Once you find your parking spot at the scenic vista, look across from the parking lot. You will need to climb to the highest point, across the road. At this highest point, there will be a small cement pillar with a carved "C" in it. There will also be 2 blue marks on the rocks. In a hole, behind a rock, under the right blue marked rock, are the unusual residents of Coachella Valley.

Nifty Fifty - Part 1

- Oak Hill Trails - Concord, NH
Take the Tower Trail marked yellow. Locate a boulder on the left side of the trail. Behind the boulder under sticks is a box from South Dakota.
Continue passed the Lower Trail to the first yellow marked tree on the left. There is a rock pile behind this tree. Locate the log between the pile and the tree. Under a rock between the log and the pile is a box from Vermont.
Continue to the Ledges Pass Trail marked red. Follow to the bridge. Find the first red marked tree after the bridge. Under some birch to this trees left is a box from Oklahoma.
Continue to intersection and continue on the Ledges Pass Trail. Find a boulder on the right. Behind this boulder under some brush is a box from Maine.
Continue to an intersection. Take a left up Vista Way marked orange. At the next intersection, you will find yourself at the vista. Look around if you like but what you are looking for is a flatish rock across from the Vista Way sign. On the far side of the rock under some bark is a box from Utah.
Continue down passed the vista on Vista Way. Cross over the bridge and find an orange marked "V" tree. Behind this tree and under some brush will be a box from Michigan.
Head back over that same bridge. Between the 1st and 2nd orange marked tree is a tree with a yellow arrow. Follow left on the red marked trail. Locate a boulder on the right with a "V" tree behind it. Behind the boulder under some sticks is a box from Virginia.
Continue on the red to a familiar intersection. Follow the red marked trail to a flat rock in the trail. To the right of this rock is a sign that says ledges. Behind the tree with this sign is a rock. Behind this rock and under some brush is a box from Minnesota.
Continue on the red trail to intersection. Head right to huge a fallen tree. Just passed this huge tree is a huge stump. Behind this stump and under some brush is a box from Tennessee.

If you are finished finding boxes at this moment, you can turn around and follow this trail back to the parking lot.
