About a mile or so down the road, you will take a left onto River Rd, following it too for about a mile, taking another left onto Dodge Rd, which is unmarked. Follow this road, which turns to dirt, to a orange gate and park there.
Walk around the gate and passed a tiny field on your left. You may notice “No Trespassing” signs all around. Right now, you are not in Bear Brook, but soon will be. At a “Y” intersection, head left. You will soon enter Bear Brook, although it never says you do. At a clearing, there is a beaver pond. You will need to follow the trail straight, to the beaver pond. The trail head left where you will notice a pawsome sized BEAR on the right. Creep around the right side of the BEAR to where a tree touches. It is there you will locate a Polar Bear.
Continue along this trail, back to the main trail and head right. At a “Y” intersection head right. Locate a rock bulging out of the middle of the trail. You will know you found the right one if there is a stack of logs on the left side of where you stand. Between the logs at the base of the stack, you will find a Koala Bear.
Continue on this trail to another “Y” intersection. Head left. You will come to some water which you will travel around to the left, and continue on until you find the blue marked tree. With the tree to your right, look to your left and find a “V” tree. Behind this tree, you will find a Brown Bear.
Start heading back the way you came, but stop before heading down to the water. This is a “Y” intersection with a trail slightly noticed on your left. Head that way. It turns to the right and straight through a yard full of sleeping BEARS. Quietly walk through the yard and down the hill to the intersection. Head left to the logs on the left of the trail. Behind the log closest the stump, you will find a Panda Bear. Continue to intersection and head left to your car.

The Care Bears

-Bear Brook State Park - Allenstown, NH
As you pulled into Bear Brook State Park for the first time, you will have noticed a dirt parking lot on the right, gating a much larger dirt parking lot. This is where they fly fish. Just past the pond, you will find the Archery Trail. Follow along to station #1. Behind the station will be a long fallen tree. Walk the length of that fallen tree to the last tree it touches. At the base of that tree, you will find the Cincinnati Bengals.
Continue following the trail of yellow markers to the station #2. Behind that station, you will notice a “V” tree. Behind that tree, you will find the Boston Bruins.
Continue on the trail passing station # 3, crossing over a bridge to the next station. To the left of that station will be a 3 sister tree with a yellow arrow on it. Behind those sisters, you will find the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
Continue down the archery trail to the next station on the other side of another bridge. Go the wrong way to an ugly tree which stands straight ahead. At the base of this tree, you will find the Detroit Lions.
Cross back over the bridge and continue left to the “target” sign. To the left of the kiosk, will be a trail you will need to take. Once you pass #19, Look for a "V" tree on the left side of the trail. Across from that "V" tree will be another "V" tree which you can not see unless you are at the first "V" tree. It will be behind the right "V" tree that the 1st Grateful Guest is located.

Continue along the trail past #16 to an intersection and head right. Just after you parallel jump, you will need to look for a "V" tree on the right, that almost wasn't. 340 degrees from that tree is a "Y" tree where the 2nd Grateful Guest is located.

Continue further along the trail to #12. Just past #12 you will find a large rock on the left followed by a 20ft tree stump on the right with a smaller rock before it. Behind the closest part of that rock to the stump, under some bark, you will find the 3rd Grateful Guest.

Continue even further down this trail and pass through a stone wall to the intersection. Past #9, you will come to another intersection. Head straight. At #2, between that tree and a yellow marked tree, is a trail. Look down that trail for an tree with an arrow. We parked in the lot provided and began reading the clues to find our 1st box. Standing at the orange gate we were to start. Up ahead we happened to notice something running around like something was wrong. It began to run towards us and as it got closer, we noticed it was a turkey. This wasn't your ordinary turkey it seemed. It didn't speak or anything, but it was holding a sign that read "Pardon Me". We stated that there was nothing we could do, and the turkey ran off down the trail. We ran after the turkey with much confusion. It is not everyday that a turkey goes running around with a "pardon Me" sign. We followed the turkey around a sharp left turn in the trail. As we rounded the bend, we noticed the picnic tables up ahead. The turkey had made it all the way to the tables but was heading again towards us. About half way between the picnic tables and the sharp left bend, the turkey stopped. The turkey looked left and bolted into the woods hiding under some man made rocks. We followed the turkey to those rocks and as we bent over to see if the turkey was actually there, we heard "Shhhhhhh! Don't tell anybody I'm here!" Being a bit weirded out by the whole situation, we left the turkey alone. Not ever telling anyone about the story, until now. Well and now you know. So don't tell anybody he is there.

I'm Not a Turkey!

-Gowen Memorial Park - Sanford, ME
Find the parking area for the Mousam Way Trail. To its right, starts the green trail. Follow the trail to the right as it splits in 2. Pass the 6 British Soldiers on the left standing in a row and a fallen civilian face first in a puddle of water on your right. Continue on around past the outlook of the south end neighborhood. Passing a few more civilians, again staying right at the split and head up to the wooden gate. To your left is an escape route. To your right is where Fort Washington once was. Where you need to go is straight and down the slope. As you head right at the "T", notice the ships in the Piscataqua River. You come to the very end and find 3 granite slabs. You hear a noise. Standing at the middle slab, take a reading of 240 degrees, and find 2 Portsmouth residents, one on each side of the small path. Now as you follow the clues, close your eyes at times to kinda get the feeling the soldiers got as they walked through the woods back in the 1700's. From the memorial, follow the dirt path that looks as if 20 soldiers may have taken. Cross over the stream. Back in the day, their feet would probably get wet doing so. Once over the stream, head right to a single tree. At this tree, continue off to the left to the 4 way intersection. Continue straight following the grassy trail. Soon you will cross over 2 wooden bridges most likely built by local residents. Just over the bridges, you will head off right and then right again crossing over the cement bridge. At the next intersection, you will notice a stone bench in the hill to your left. Go there. Behind this stone bench, there is kinda a trail heading up the hill. Follow this trail to a better defined trail. Head left and locate the 2 sisters that might have comforted the soldiers while in town. When you find the 2 sister, look to the left for 3 more sisters with many toes. Between the log and the sisters, under some bark, will be Concord's Cool Cat.

Whistling Weasel

-Allen I. From that intersection, travel 1.2 miles to a small dirt parking lot on your left. If you see the Wildlife Sanctaury sign, which is also on your left, you have gone to far. Once in the parking lot, you will notice a stone with a Allen I. Lewis Town Forest plaque on it. From this stone, to its right will be a trail. Follow this trail over the bridge, through 2 stonewalls until you come to a "T" intersection. On your left will be a mailbox for the Wildlife Sanctuary. Take that left past the mailbox. The trail becomes rocky and may be a bit muddy. Follow the trail and the past the scary tree on your right and take the right turn following the yellow arrows. Cross over 3 wooden bridges, 1 of which that is actually over a small stream. Now find the stonewall. From this wall count 11 yellow markers, only counting 1 of the yellow markers located on the tree with 2. Just past the 11th marker on your left will be a huge tree attached to a dead sister. Around the side closest to the 11th marker with be the "Whistling Weasel" under a piece of wood. Rehide as you found it.
He should be whistling for you. What!? He isn't whistling? I know what you need to do! Sing your way down the trail to a hole in the stone wall behind the red marked "V" tree, at the intersection of red and yellow. Head up the hill and look for the first conservation/tree farm sign. Head up the hill a bit more and park at the second conservation sign, just before the small pond.
The Frame: From your car, head into the woods to the first intersection. At this intercetion on your right, will be what looks like a fallen house and on your left, will be a wall. Take a left and head a short distance to the remains of a stone wall. Standing at the stone wall, head right and follow the wall to the fallen log. Behind.
Mountains: Head back to the main trail and take a left. Pass through the wall and straight through the 4-way. About 25 feet from the 4-way, on your right will be a rock sticking out of the ground. Behind that rock will be the mountians. Stamp the mountains in the top right corner.
Trees: Continue down the trail. At the "Y" stay right and follow the trail to the right to another "Y" where you then go left. At the next intersection, will be a large tree. Head left by that tree to the stonewall. Find the yellow tree behind the wall. The trees can be located between the stonewall and the yellow tree, in the wall. Stamp the tree twice to the left of the mountians.
Lake: Turn around and head back to the big tree. At the tree, you will follow the trail straight. Look for the the fallen tree across the trail. At its base with be the lake. Stamp the lake in below the mountains.
Yourself: Again head back to the big tree. Head left back towards your car, look for the trail on your left, before the stonewall. If you actually reach the golf course, you've gone too far.
Park at the pull-off. In the trees along the field, look for a V-shaped twin oak on the downhill side of the pull-off.
