- Earle Remick Natural Area - Tamworth, NH
On route 113 in Tamworth, you will need to look for The Earle Remick Natural Area. Once you find the natural area, park your car and sign in at the map box. From the map box, proceed down the trail. Cross over the bridge to the Route 113 sign intersection. At this intersection, you will proceed away from the brook. Heading in the right direction, you will now be looking for marker #5. This marker stands infront of a large red oak. Standing infront of that marker, turn around and notice 2 other large red oak trees standing next to each other. They are almost twins. Now, take 2 steps either up the trail or back down the trail. Behind those trees, you will notice a red oak that once was like the 2 trees you were just facing. It's kinda naked! Behind that tree is were you will find the Blue Spider.
