Dying in the Shadow of a General

-Norwichtown Cemetery - Norwichtown, CT
Once you enter the cemetery, you will notice the memorial of the 20 French Soldiers under General LaFayette's command on your left. Now as you follow the clues, close your eyes at times to kinda get the feeling the soldiers got as they walked through the woods back in the 1700's. From the memorial, follow the dirt path that looks as if 20 soldiers may have taken. Cross over the stream. Back in the day, their feet would probably get wet doing so. Once over the stream, head right to a single tree. At this tree, continue off to the left to the 4 way intersection. Continue straight following the grassy trail. Soon you will cross over 2 wooden bridges most likely built by local residents. Just over the bridges, you will head off right and then right again crossing over the cement bridge. At the next intersection, you will notice a stone bench in the hill to your left. Go there. Behind this stone bench, there is kinda a trail heading up the hill. Follow this trail to a better defined trail. Head left and locate the 2 sisters that might have comforted the soldiers while in town. When you find the 2 sister, look to the left for 3 more sisters with many toes. Behind the 3 sisters, you will find the shadow of the general.
