From the parking lot, take the Chickadee Path. Pass the bench and cross over the bridge to an intersection. Continue traveling Chickadee to next intersection. Cross over the bridge on your left and take a right onto the Abenaki Trail. Pass that bench and keep a look out for the covered bridge up river. Once you can see the covered bridge, keep your eyes open for a 4ft long cut log on your left resting on top of another log. Underneath the 4ft log will be what you seek.
