Mohegan Park Rd. is gated at the parking lot for Spaulding Pond swimming. It is this lot you need to park in, way down in the corner where the yellow & white gas pole is located. Once parked, walk parallel to Mohegan Park Rd, past the gas pole to a trail that heads into the woods. Follow this trail to the bridge. Cross the bridge and look for the 7 ft. tall stump. Inside the backside, under some bark, you will find what you look for.
